Have you seen the new logo for Cru’s 75th anniversary? There are two versions. One for use in the United States and one for staff in other countries. The image in this post shows the U.S. version.

I’ve been doing a few things to alert our ministry partners about this milestone. I’d like to help you do the same for your team.

Prayer Letters

The logo is perfect for your prayer letters all year, not just for the official anniversary. Use it to draw attention. I plan to focus on Cru’s anniversary in the fall after we learn about celebration announcements.

If you use Mailchimp, add the logo to your email template.

Thank-You Notes

I created free thank-you notes with the logo and Cru branding. Print them yourself (two on a sheet) on white cardstock, and use white A2 envelopes.

I made two versions, depending on the length of your name. Using the wrong one can shift and misalign your thank-you note. The only difference is the font size for the staff member’s name. Review both and make a copy of the one that fits your needs.

• If your name is 14 or fewer letters, use the short-name version.
• Couples or those with longer names should use the alternate version.

75th Anniversary Thank-You Note Enclosures

Since 2016, I’ve included ministry stories as inserts in thank-you notes and add a handwritten message: “Thank you! Your donations make stories like this possible.”

We work at headquarters, so this practice ensures that every ministry partner, every year, receives a broader view of Cru’s impact beyond what we do.

I’ve taken a few of these stories and replaced the standard Cru logo with the 75th-anniversary logo.

Other Ideas

• If you’re comfortable changing the thank-you note from two-up to four-up, print it as postcards.
• Update your email signature with the new logo.
