I know very little about graphic design. How do I make a large block of text more readable? What fonts can I mix and match on a prayer letter? This is more than I know, but I just discovered: 50 Totally Free Lessons in Graphic Design Theory.

If I focus on one lesson per week, then a year from now I should know more about graphic design and my blogs, PowerPoints, and prayer letters should look even better and invite my readers to dive in. Anyone else want to try this?

Other Helpful Websites

  • Do you really want to use red letters on a black background?  Test it out on the Color Text Legibility tool.
  • Check three fonts at once for appearance in bold, in italics, and in different sizes on Type Tester.
