Last February, God laid a ministry opportunity on my heart. He was so good and gracious to bring all the pieces together this May. I’m actually going to make this post very short because I thought I’d leave time for you to enjoy some photos, if you’re interested.
The Netherlands
On Wednesday, May 14th, I taught two dozen staff in our headquarters in Doorn on how to use computer tools to communicate well with their financial partners. Several in attendance came from some other missions organizations, too. I had a great time with everyone there.
Here’s photos from the training in Doorn. (We went out for dinner for Dutch pancakes in this photo.)
The Indigitous Amsterdam Conference
My husband, Mike, flew in Thursday to join me at the Indigitous digital strategies conference in Amsterdam. About 120 attended from around the world, mostly from European countries. Hopefully, I’ll be able to write more about the conference in the next week or so.
Here’s our photos from the conference and a video from Indigitous. (You can see us at the 20-second mark):
The United Kingdom
On May 19th, I taught another twenty staff about using technology effectively for MPD during a full day in Agape UK’s headquarters in Birmingham. Like the Dutch staff, they were very appreciative for the training.
Here’s photos from the training in Birmingham.
Okay… What about FUN?!
We had a great time making new friends and connecting with longtime friends and also with several friends I’ve made through social media over the years.
Yes, we took some vacation days, so if you want to know what we did when we weren’t working, I’ll be putting up photos, posts, and video through MikeandSus.org over the next few weeks, starting tonight. I’d be glad to have you visit me over on our personal / ministry site for more photos and stories.
