How Am I Doing with the You-Can-Too Series?
This is the first day this year I’m not on schedule for the next post in the series, which should have been today. Believe me, that’s amazing in light of my schedule. I decided to give myself some grace because of an MPD trip this month. Hopefully on Friday I’ll have the next post in the series on using RSS feeds for MailChimp email content. I know you’ll give me grace if I postpone again. This topic needs at least a half day to be written correctly.
Also, because of this MPD trip, I didn’t finish the blog assessments, but should be able to do that the week after we’re back.
How Are You Doing with the You-Can-Too Series?
I’ve heard from a few of you, so I know readers are learning and even making some major changes. I love to hear your stories and help you with your struggles when I can.
I’m proud of you guys!
Giveaways for the 2014 You-Can-Too Series
Now, what you might really be interested in is the giveaway. God put the funding for the prizes together in August. The prizes include tablets, portable speakers, external hard drives, an activity tracker, and more. See the 2014 You-Can-Too Series Giveaways page with instructions and links to prizes. The last day to submit an entry is November 22, 2014.
If you aren’t sure what to do or how your efforts might qualify, please sign up anyway. I’ll be glad to connect with you to discuss what you’re doing. My point in the qualifications is to encourage people to try new technologies to help them in ministry. I can be flexible about what you do, but I also want to recognize levels of effort, so I prefer to give the tablet to someone who stood out in tackling new tools and technology. I expect to have two winners in each of four categories.
You’re also able to “go back in” to your sign-up to add more learning to your initial entry. I’d rather you sign up early so I know you’re working on some things instead of your waiting too close to the deadline. Signing up now may also help you if you need a bit of coaching from me. The giveaway ends in six weeks.
