Cru’s Global LDHR Celebrates Women’s Stories

Celebrating Women’s Stories

(This blog post is for men, too.)

International Women’s Day was March 8th. Cru’s Global Leadership Development & Human Resources (LDHR) is celebrating by sharing inspirational stories from our staff women around the globe during March. The stories are posted on LDHR’s Workplace group and website (see NOTES).

Be encouraged by these short inspirational stories of overcoming in their work or personal lives. Also, hear more stories on a webinar on March 25th.

A Story from Africa

I learned of this project when I found the video interview of Gracious Chifamuna. Click on the link to hear her inspiring story.

God worked through her significant personal loss and created a passion to help others.

Gracious ministers through Digital Strategies to widows across Africa and in other countries. She is involved in evangelism and discipleship, Bible Studies, and training widows to reach out to other widows with saving hope.

Gracious serves on the national leadership and prayer teams in South Africa. She manages their Facebook and TikTok pages, from creating content to engagement.

(Watch the video on Workplace if you’re on Cru staff.)

Webinar on March 25th, 2024

LDHR will have an hour-long storytelling webinar on Monday, March 25th, 2024, at 3-4 PM UTC (11 AM – noon ET). Four women will tell their stories with time for Q&A. Men are welcome.
