Reverse Mentorship

What are you and others on your team doing about the need to keep up with tech skills? Do each of you learn on your own? Do you set up times to learn as a team?  Perhaps, you have a mentor you can turn to. (It’s also reasonable to have various mentors for different aspects of your life instead of looking for just one mentor.)

Have you considered a mutual mentoring relationship or reverse mentoring? “Digital natives” have a lot to teach our older staff, while senior staff, in return, offer wisdom and ministry experience. Both can mentor each other in different areas.

Have you benefited from reverse mentorship on your team?  Could you share with us how this has worked for you?
