September is assessment month… and the fifth anniversary of eQuipping for eMinistry!
Assessment: Your Blog
If you would like me to look at your blog this month, I will be happy to look it over and give you my assessment. I can realistically only look at about twenty in September, so I’ll only guarantee an assessment for the first twenty Campus Crusade for Christ staff blogs. If I receive requests beyond those limits, I may or may not be able to get to them, so send an email to e4e at cru dot org with a link to your blog as soon as you read this. Use “blog assessment” in your email subject line.
- Please mention the purpose of your blog: MPD, evangelism, etc.
- Does your blog automatically post to social media or send emails through MailChimp?
- Are you getting the interaction you desire with your readers?
- Include any other information you think would help me understand what you desire for your blog and your audience.
Assessment: eQuipping for eMinistry
Now it’s your turn!
This is the 501st post for eQuipping for eMinistry (e4e). I’ve been posting twice per week for five years.
I’d like to know your suggestions in an assessment form (at the bottom of this post). For instance, if you’re receiving the MailChimp monthly summary, you might pick out an idea from one of the posts that you’d like to try. Or, if you’re receiving a MailChimp email each time I write, you may feel like an impossible to-do list is piling up in your inbox. (Try switching your subscription to monthly.) I certainly don’t want to overwhelm you, so I’m considering a less frequent posting schedule. Let me know what you think.
On my end, I never lack for what I could write about, but I’m finding it hard to have enough time for other things. I also have considered how to repeat good content from previous years. I could re-post them on the blog or post them on e4e’s Facebook page or through Twitter. One disadvantage of the Facebook page option is I may have to spend money in order for you to even see what I post there.
I’m considering a MailChimp series in 2015. Once-per-month, you could receive a post on tips for blogging, MPD, or social media. Let me know on the form if you’re interested.
Thank you for reading and for encouraging the ministry of eQuipping for eMinistry. I’ve embedded the assessment form for you at the bottom of this post. If you don’t see the form, go here, and thank you for your time so e4e will be even better for you.
