Are you aware of the successful launch in March of cellphone-based distance learning in Kenya, the mLearning Project of our Global Technology office? A friend explained to me some of the challenges they faced. A phone was available just months before the launch that is affordable for Africans ( about $100). After you go to bing.com, click on “Travel” in the menu across the top. You could then click on “Flights” or on “Hotels” to quickly find flights, lodging and rates. Travelling Overseas? Share Your Computer Skills

If you travel or are interested in a missions trip, you might be surprised to learn how much you could teach someone who hasn’t had as much exposure to computers (even when you might think you aren’t qualified in this area).
If you’re going overseas, could you add a little one-on-one computer training with some of our overseas national staff wives? They may have limited options for ministry, however, your time with these staff sisters could go a LONG way in helping them with their computer skills and opening up ministry opportunities for them.
I just ran across this Jesus Film mission trip to teach English and computer skills overseas November 2, 2010 through November 20, 2010.
